Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

As an HVAC Design Engineer, your role will involve designing HVAC systems and calculating heat loads as per ASHRAE standards. You will determine heating and cooling requirements for equipment, design various HVAC systems such as DX, VRF, Chilled Water Systems, and Air-Cooled Chillers, and read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Proficiency in duct routing, pipe routing, and chilled water piping systems will be essential, along with preparing tender documents and managing project timelines effectively. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with architects, engineers, and vendors to implement heating and cooling systems, certifying quantities of ducting and piping, and managing site meetings and communications. Strong skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, and duct sizing software will be required, along with excellent communication and coordination abilities to ensure project success. You should be able to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines efficiently, and be open to business travel when necessary. Desired candidates will have expertise in HVAC system design, heat load calculations, and drafting ductwork and piping systems. Proficiency in reading construction plans and blueprints will be crucial for this role.
