EHS Office

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., waste management, pollution control, chemical handling).
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, audits, and environmental performance.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream + Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant EHS experience (industry-specific experience preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulations/standards.
• Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
