Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Lucknow for an Educational Counselor. The Educational Counselor will guide students throughout the process of planning their education abroad by assessing individual aspirations and career goals. Responsibilities include providing detailed consultation on German educational opportunities, counseling students about courses and admission processes, assisting with visa documentation, and conducting informational sessions. The role will require building rapport with students and their families to establish trust and confidence in YES Germany’s expertise.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling
• Skills in Career Counseling supported by an understanding of higher education opportunities
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students and stakeholders
• Knowledge of German education systems is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented with a passion for helping students achieve their goals
