Role Overview

Education Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families about study options, courses, and institutions.
• Assess student goals, qualifications, and aspirations to recommend suitable education pathways.
• Assist with the full application process, including documentation, submissions, and coordination with institutions.
• Stay updated on admission policies, education requirements, visa rules, and scholarship opportunities in Australia and globally.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions using CRM systems.
• Organize and participate in education seminars, workshops, and promotional events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, migration consultants, and community partners.
• Collaborate with the CECA team to develop customized education and migration plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum

  2 years experience

  in education counseling or a related advisory rolepreferably in Australian education or migration sectors.
• Strong understanding of

  Australian education systems, student visas, and international student processes

  .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide and influence.
• Ability to assess student needs and provide clear, tailored recommendations.
• Passionate about helping students succeed academically and professionally.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
