Job Description

HarperCollins India is looking to hire for the post of Editorial Consultant to work on HarperCollins India's dynamic popular fiction list. Your work will involve fiction submission evaluations, structural edits and second reads of manuscripts, as well as other editorial support on assigned fiction titles. If you are interested in working with some of Indias bestselling authors and are passionate about discovering new voices, you may want to apply.

Requirements

At least 3 to 4 years of editorial experience in an established publishing house or media organization.
Excellent organization, time management and project management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and able to work accurately, and to tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to all parties involved, including established and first-time authors, external suppliers and colleagues.
