Key Responsibilities: - Lead the editorial vision, strategy, and implementation across various digital platforms, focusing on YouTube. - Mentor and manage a team of reporters, anchors, and content creators to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and impactful journalism. - Drive content innovation through experimentation with different formats like ground reports, explainers, documentaries, shorts, and live coverage. - Uphold strong editorial standards while also concentrating on audience growth and achieving monetization objectives. - Identify and develop exclusive stories, conduct high-profile interviews, and craft viral narratives. - Collaborate with business and digital marketing teams to ensure alignment of editorial content with brand positioning. - Represent The Edge Originals at industry events, forums, and collaborations. Qualifications Required: - 10-15 years of experience in news media, digital media, or television, showcasing a successful history of editorial leadership. - Possess strong news judgment, the capability to recognize trends, storytelling formats, and effectively engage with the audience. - Demonstrated ability to construct, lead, and motivate teams in fast-paced and dynamic settings. - Established network of contacts within media, politics, business, and entertainment sectors to secure exclusive stories and partnerships. - Thorough understanding of digital content strategy, YouTube ecosystem, and mechanics of social media virality. - Ability to maintain a balance between editorial integrity and an entrepreneurial approach.
