1. Editing Video content:
- Improve video quality using various video software
- Cut, trim, and assemble recorded footage into a finished project and put together the sequence of the final output.
- Incorporate music, subtitles, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video content.
- Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the videos creation
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency
- Create videos from scratch based on requirements
2. Audio Editing Responsibilities:
- Edit and mix audio tracks, ensuring clarity, balance, and quality.
- Remove background noise, clicks, pops, and other unwanted sounds.
- Enhance audio quality using tools like equalizers, compressors, and noise reduction software.
- Incorporate background music and sound effects to enhance the audio experience.
- Adjust audio levels throughout the podcast to maintain consistent volume.
- Export and deliver audio files in appropriate formats for podcast platforms.
3. Podcast Production Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire podcast production process from recording to final publishing.
- Coordinate with hosts, guests, and other contributors to schedule recordings.
- Edit and assemble recorded episodes into a polished final product.
- Upload episodes to podcast hosting platforms and manage distribution.
- Monitor podcast analytics and audience feedback to improve future episodes.
4. Canva Design Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing graphics, thumbnails, and promotional materials using Canva.
- Design podcast cover art, social media graphics, and marketing materials.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and enhance overall visual identity.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to create engaging visual assets.
- Stay updated with design trends and software updates to maintain proficiency.
5. Qualifications Required:
- Proficient in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, AVID) and audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, FL Studio).
- Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and exporting processes for various platforms (web, social media, broadcast).
- Bachelors degree in film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field. A degree in Audio Engineering or Digital Media can also be beneficial.
- Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
- Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with the team and the ability to bring them to life
- Excellent command of the English language
- 3 5 years of experience being in video editing and audio editing.
Preferred a candidate who can join immediately or short notice no more than 10 days.
