Job Description

Role Overview


We are hiring aE commerce Trading & Merchandising Manager

This role sits at the intersection of Product Content, Commercial and Performance teams and drives the “last mile” that converts marketing traffic into orders.

Website Merchandising & Content

Manage product setup on Shopify for assigned categories - titles, descriptions, images, tags, SEO metadata

Own homepage, collection, product, promotional/seasonal and flash sale pages

Build and maintain a clear merchandising calendar aligned with commercial and marketing plans

Trade Marketing & Promotions

Execute trade-oriented promotional tactics such as discounts, promo tagging, timed flash sales, product-level merchandising promos, and seasonal campaigns (Eid, Black Friday, Summer, Payday)

Liaise with Commercial to ensure product availability, pricing approvals for in-season changes and/or promotions, etc.

Site Performance & Optimisation

Methodically track sessions/traffic, bounce & exit rates, add-to-cart, conversion rate, AOV, and sell-through/checkout completion metrcis. Produce weekly and adhoc insights for stakeholders

Run CRO - homepage/collection pages tests, PDP layout improvements, sales rank changes, etc. Implement, monitor and roll back or scale winners.

Analytics & Reporting

Ensure tracking accuracy in GA4 and Shopify.

Share weekly and monthly performance reports with recommendations

Translate analytics into actions by prioritizing merchandising changes, promotional recommendations, and product page improvements that drive conversion and revenue.

Platform Stewardship

Be the internal power user for Shopify and the primary liaison for web engineers’ tasks prioritization, front-end tweaks, and template reviews/builds. Knowledge of Shopify Apps and integrations preferred

Requirements

Minimum 3 years in ecommerce and website management

Strong Shopify experience

Confident with GA4, Shopify analytics and dashboards (Looker Studio or Power BI a plus)

Experience improving conversion funnels and running A/B tests

Solid understanding of pricing, bundles and promotional execution

Strong project management skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Klaviyo, internal search tuning or headless storefronts

Familiarity with UAE retail calendar and cultural moments
