ECHS Claims Processing Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented ECHS Claims Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing claims related to the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. You will work closely with healthcare providers, beneficiaries, and internal teams to facilitate efficient claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process ECHS claims in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Verify documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy of claims submissions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and beneficiaries to resolve issues related to claims.
• Maintain accurate records of claims processed and track status updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of claims processing workflows and best practices.
• Provide training and support to team members on claims processing procedures.
• Generate reports on claims processing metrics and outcomes for management review.
• Stay updated on changes to ECHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in claims processing, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
• Strong understanding of ECHS policies and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency in claims processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
