ECHS Claims Processing Specialist

As an ECHS Claims Processing Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for processing claims related to the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) with utmost accuracy and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare providers, beneficiaries, and internal teams to ensure efficient claims processing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and process ECHS claims following established policies and procedures. - Verify documentation for completeness and accuracy of claims submissions. - Collaborate with healthcare providers and beneficiaries to address claim-related issues. - Maintain precise records of processed claims and monitor status updates. - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. - Assist in developing and implementing efficient claims processing workflows and best practices. - Provide training and support to team members on claims processing procedures. - Generate reports on claims processing metrics and outcomes for management review. - Stay informed about changes to ECHS policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in claims processing, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting. - Strong understanding of ECHS policies and healthcare regulations. - Proficiency in claims processing software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
