About the Role

Are you someone who finds joy in little discoveries — a child’s first painting, giggle, or “I did it!” moment?

We’re seeking a warm, creative, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join Toybox Daycare, a vibrant early learning and care space designed for the children of Ashoka University faculty and staff.

As part of our passionate team, you’ll:

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Engage with children across different age groups and developmental stages
• Observe, document, and track children’s development, milestones, and learning journeys
• Provide hands-on care, including feeding, assisting with sleep routines, diapering, etc.
• Respond sensitively to children’s social-emotional needs and behaviours
• Communicate meaningfully with parents about children’s day, progress, and well-being
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and child protection standards at all times
• Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and team to support smooth daily operations
• Contribute to setting up learning environments, material preparation, and classroom organisation

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experienced early childhood professionals OR passionate freshers ready to learn
• Individuals with a background in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields
• Empathetic, proactive, and reliable team players
• Comfortable with full-day responsibilities (8–9 hours)
• Proficient in English and Hindi
• Proficient in designing lesson plans, activities, and using Microsoft 365.
