Early Childhood Educator

The Educator is responsible for supporting the academic growth, learning continuity, and holistic development of children residing in the CCI. The role includes teaching, homework support, remedial education, monitoring school performance, and creating a child-friendly learning environment.

A. Academic Support

• Provide daily teaching, remedial classes, and subject-wise guidance to children (as per age and school level).
• Assist children with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
• Maintain individual academic progress records for each child.
• Coordinate with nearby schools for attendance, results, and assessments.

B. Learning & Development

• Conduct learning activities such as reading sessions, storytelling, group learning, and skill-based sessions.
• Support children with foundational learning (literacy & numeracy).
• Encourage participation in co-curricular activities: art, craft, music, sports, etc.
• Promote life skills, values, discipline, and good study habits.

C. Child Protection & Behavioural Support

• Follow child safeguarding protocols and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Identify learning gaps, behavioral issues, or emotional needs and report to the counsellor/PO.
• Provide positive and empathetic support to children with special needs or trauma backgrounds.

D. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain attendance registers, learning plans, and progress reports.
• Help prepare Individual Care Plans (ICPs) with educational inputs.
• Submit monthly academic reports to the Superintendent/Coordinator.

Pay: ₹10,782.41 - ₹20,000.00 per month
