Early Childhood Educator

Role Overview: You will be joining the founding team at Healthy Planet-TGA Wishtown as an Early Childhood Educator. Your role will involve shaping the next generation by creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop confidently. You will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of all children, promoting a love for learning, and safeguarding the welfare of the children under your care. Key Responsibilities: - Have a clear understanding of early childhood development and brain research to facilitate successful learning and development at school. - Establish and maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop. - Develop children's confidence, social, and communication skills through group learning. - Plan education and care considering the needs of all children, observing and assessing their development to plan next steps. - Plan balanced and flexible activities that cater to the children's stage of development, circumstances, and interests. - Promote a love for learning and stimulate children's intellectual curiosity. - Reflect on teaching activities to continuously improve provision. - Adapt education and care to respond to the strengths and needs of all children. - Demonstrate awareness of factors that can inhibit children's learning and development and adapt education and care accordingly. - Support children through transitions and engage with parents as required. - Make productive use of assessment to plan next steps and provide regular feedback to children and parents. - Safeguard and promote the welfare of children by adhering to legal requirements and guidance on health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies. - Uphold high standards of ethics and behavior, treating young learners with dignity and respect. - Maintain the ethos, policies, and practices of the school while carrying out professional duties as directed. Qualification Required: - First degree and B.Ed. qualification. - Completion of an Early Years or Child Care qualification. - Minimum of two years of teaching experience. - Experience working with children under six years of age. - Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development. - Empathetic, compassionate, kind, and conscientious. - Enjoy being around young children, positive, happy, and collaborative. - Emotionally resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure. - Excellent record of punctuality and attendance. - Strong communication skills.,
