E2E Test & Trials Lead 4

Responsible for designing and executing test environments for Quality Assurance Engineers. Tests products and software to ensure quality and a successful rollout. Assists in managing project teams, developing test strategies and designing quality assurance practices. Leads Engineering teams in investigation process which includes identifying, reproducing and documents defects, bugs, or problems. Maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities. Utilizes clearly defined standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise. Employees at all levels are expected to: Candidate Specification Pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset, with a track record of having led and facilitated end-to-end test & trials on very large cross-enterprise initiatives within the following domains: Mobile Core, Broadband Core & Access Networks, IP-based Telephony, TV, Streaming, OTT, Business Communications Trial management experience, having planned and implement technical trials: define & verify trial scenarios, co-ordinate technology teams, manage trialists & feedback mechanisms, manage defects & retesting, provide concise programme updates, collate reports, perform root cause analysis. Technical acumen: Taken ownership for the progression and project management of releases, test cases and defect fixes that have dependencies across multiple software, hardware and network engineering delivery teams. Comfortable working in an incremental delivery methodology, defining risk-based test/trial plans for overall programme and for each programme increment Excellent testing, UAT, project management and stakeholder management skills. Confident presentation skills to large audiences of varying seniority and be able to get your message across clearly and succinctly Technical Skill set E2E trial with multiple components across network, OSS and BSS systems Define E2E test and trial approaches Implementing trial inc. release & deployment, trialist management, defect management, project mgmt. Delivering UAT test phases Stakeholder management Management of defects, from raising to deploying into the live environment Significant experience of managing E2E trials and testing one or more of: Broadband Mobile networks Voice (over IP) Business Communications TV Streaming/OTT Project management expertise Executive presence Technical, Operations & Business Stakeholder management Release management Change and configuration management Defect management Education Bachelors Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
