Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Growth & Revenue Management

Drive and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets across website & marketplace channels.

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, optimize product pricing, and improve profitability.

Monitor sales mix to ensure a balance between high-value and volume-driven products.

Manage and optimize repeat purchase rates, customer retention, and average order value (AOV).

Collaborate with marketing teams to drive customer acquisition and promotional campaigns.

2. Marketplace & Website Sales Strategy

Manage D2C sales via the company's website, ensuring a seamless customer shopping experience.

Optimize marketplace sales (Amazon, Ajio, Tata Cliq, Flipkart) through listing improvements, promotions, and pricing strategies.

Track and analyze conversion rates, customer behavior, and sales trends to drive performance.

Ensure competitive pricing and promotions on all platforms without affecting profit margins.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, train, and mentor the D2C Sales and Marketplace Sales teams to achieve their targets.

Monitor individual and team performance using key sales metrics and dashboards.

Implement best practices in sales processes, customer engagement, and order management.

Foster a data-driven approach within the sales team to continuously improve strategies.

4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

Work closely with the marketing, inventory, logistics, and catalog teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans.

Align with the finance team to monitor sales profitability and gross margins.

Collaborate with the customer service team to handle escalations, improve satisfaction, and drive repeat sales.

Maintain strong relationships with marketplace category managers to unlock growth opportunities.

5. Digital & Analytical Expertise

Stay updated with eCommerce trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies in jewellery.

Utilize Google Analytics, CRM tools, and eCommerce dashboards to analyze sales performance.

Implement A/B testing for product listings, pricing strategies, and customer engagement tactics.

Ensure compliance with platform-specific policies and eCommerce regulations.
