Dynamic Systems Modelling and Simulation Engineer

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team in the role of a Dynamic Systems Modelling and Simulation Engineer. In this critical role, you will be responsible for development of custom tools for vibration and shock analysis of machinery systems in marine vessels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address both technical and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Develop customized state of the art multibody vibration and shock simulation capabilities under the guidance of experienced peers. · Support developing new and improve existing software tools, system models and design load calculation methods · Undertake dynamic FEA analysis, strength analysis under normal operation, shock loadings scenarios by FEA techniques. · Prepare and deliver progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and effective communication across teams. What We’re Looking For: Minimum Qualifications, Requirements: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering or a related field. · Proficiency with multibody simulation software (e.g., . Ansys, LS-Dyna, MSC Software etc.). · Proficiency in programming tools and languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, C++, and C#. · Taking responsibility for your own planning and project management.. · Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working effectively with multidisciplinary teams. · Passionate about ships and shipbuilding. Preferred Qualifications: · Background in engineering work, including system design load calculations, system performance assessments, and system dynamics analysis. · Experience in, software development towards frond end design. · Previous experience in naval shipbuilding.
