Dyeing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all dyeing activities on the production floor.
• Ensure proper dyeing procedures are followed according to fabric type and production specifications.
• Monitor color matching and dyeing quality to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Allocate tasks to dyeing machine operators and monitor their performance.
• Conduct pre-production trials and approve bulk production after lab dips and shade matching.
• Collaborate with the quality control and R&D teams to resolve color and fabric issues.
• Maintain production records, including dye usage, batch reports, and efficiency logs.
• Ensure timely execution of dyeing schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Manage inventory of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries, and request stock replenishments as needed.
• Enforce safety and environmental standards in the dyeing department.
• Train and guide dyeing staff in operating procedures, chemical handling, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot problems related to machines, fabric reactions, or dyeing faults.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a dyeing plant, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of dyeing processes (reactive, vat, disperse, etc.) and fabric types (cotton, polyester, blends).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
