Job Description

  • A Duty Officer Supervisor manages a team and oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth functionality and adherence to policies. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing shifts, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, providing training, managing performance, resolving issues, and communicating with management and subordinates. The specific duties vary significantly depending on the industry, such as security, office administration, or public safety. Common Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership:Manage, motivate, and coordinate a team of subordinates to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Industry-Specific Duties

  • Security Supervisor:Patrol assigned areas, investigate suspicious activity, respond to alarms, conduct security checks, and ensure the proper functioning of security equipment.
  • Office Supervisor:Handle administrative duties, manage staff, oversee office operations, and ensure that workers adhere to company guidelines.
  • Police Supervisor:Supervise police officers, ensure compliance with laws, lead investigations, manage deployment, and provide crisis intervention.
  • Duty Officer (General):Monitor communication systems, coordinate among departments, respond to emergencies, and ensure protocols are followed
  • Operational Oversight:Supervise daily activities, monitor workflow, and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
  • Scheduling and Resource Management:Create and manage team schedules, assign tasks, and allocate resources to meet operational needs.
  • Performance Management:Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback and coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Training and Development:Train new hires, provide ongoing training to improve skills, and identify career advancement opportunities.
  • Communication:Serve as a liaison between subordinates and upper management, relaying information and providing regular updates.
  • Problem-Solving:Address and resolve employee issues, grievances, and operational challenges that arise.
  • Policy and Compliance:Ensure that team members follow company policies, procedures, and legal or regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
