Duty Manager

Responsibilities of a Duty Manager:1. Operational Oversight

• Supervise daily operations across all departments (e.g., front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, etc.)
• Ensure all services are delivered efficiently and meet company standards.
• Monitor staff performance and delegate tasks as needed.

2. Customer Service & Guest Relations

• Act as the point of contact for guests/customers during the shift.
• Handle complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate unresolved issues to senior management.

3. Team Leadership

• Manage and support on-duty staff.
• Motivate and guide team members to deliver excellent service.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate key updates.

4. Crisis & Incident Management

• Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Coordinate with emergency services if needed.
• Complete incident reports and follow up on actions taken.

5. Reporting & Handover

• Maintain a duty log for shift activities, issues, and resolutions.
• Provide detailed handovers to the incoming Duty Manager or senior leadership.
• Monitor stock levels, cash handling, and ensure proper documentation.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure health, safety, and security standards are met.
• Conduct regular inspections or audits of facilities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

7. Financial Responsibility (if applicable)

• Oversee cash handling procedures during the shift.
• Ensure accurate billing and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• May authorize discounts, voids, or refunds within limits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
