Duty Manager Hotel

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during the shift to ensure seamless guest service.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests; handle escalations, complaints, and special requests.
  
• Monitor front office operations including check-ins, check-outs, billing, and reservations.
  
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, security, engineering, and other departments for smooth functioning.
  
• Conduct lobby and property rounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
  
• Manage VIP arrivals, guest amenities, and ensure personalized hospitality.
  
• Handle emergency situations, safety protocols, and incident reporting.
  
• Supervise front office team members; provide guidance, training, and shift allocations.
  
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, hotel policies, and brand standards.
  
• Prepare shift reports and handovers; update management on key issues.
  
• Support the revenue team by overseeing room inventory, upselling, and guest satisfaction scores.
  

Required Skills

• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  
• Excellent guest-handling and problem-solving skills.
  
• Knowledge of hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, Fidelio, etc.).
  
• Ability to manage pressure and maintain composure during peak hours.
  

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).
  
• 3-7 years of experience in Front Office, with at least 1-2 years in Executive / Duty Manager role
