Duty Manager Landside Security

Role & responsibilities:

• Security Operations Management

  : Supervise landside security activities, including patrolling, access control, and surveillance. Ensure operational readiness of security equipment and coordinate with ISOC for monitoring and response.

• Incident Management

  : Lead initial response during security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and support investigations.

• Access Control & Traffic Management

  : Oversee crowd control, vehicle access, and traffic flow to maintain safety and prevent congestion.

• Risk Assessment

  : Conduct routine risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.

• Team Coordination

  : Manage shift schedules, conduct briefings, and provide on-the-job training to security staff.

• Compliance & Audit

  : Ensure adherence to SOPs, support audits, and update staff on regulatory changes.

• Stakeholder Liaison

  : Collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement, and external agencies to resolve operational challenges.

• Reporting & Documentation

  : Maintain accurate records of incidents, access control, and operational highlights.

Preferred candidate profile:

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in Security Management, Public Safety, Aviation Security, or related discipline.
• AVSEC certification is mandatory; additional certifications in Crisis Management or Incident Response will be an advantage.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in security operations, preferably in an airport or large-scale infrastructure environment.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role handling security teams and operations.

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, access control devices, and integrated security platforms.
• Familiarity with BCAS guidelines and airport security protocols.
