Job Description

Seconded to Office of DGCA as Aerodrome Inspector to fulfil the legal obligation for supplementing Aerodrome Standards Directorate s Work in DGCA as required under DGCA Civil Aviation Requirements Section 4, Series A, Part-I.

ORGANISATION CHART

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Key Performance Indicators Inspection of the aerodromes, heliports, waterdromes for the issuance/renewal of aerodrome license. 100% completion of the licensing inspections as per directions of DGCA on schedule Periodic inspections and surveillance of aerodromes and heliports operators. 100% completion of the surveillance inspections as per directions of DGCA on schedule Scrutiny and processing of applications, Aerodrome Manuals and Safety Management Manuals for issue of aerodrome license. 100% scrutiny and processing of the manuals as per directions of DGCA Examination and processing of the alterations proposed by aerodrome operator in accordance with rule 83 and AD AC 01 of 2012. 100% scrutiny and processing of the manuals as per directions of DGCA Inspection to ensure compliance with requirements for approval of special operations. 100% completion of the special inspections as per directions of DGCA on schedule Any other function assigned by DGCA from time to time. As per directions of DGCA Close Coordination with DGCA on Aerodrome and License related issues like renewal of license on time, surveillance inspections and changes in airside infrastructure pertaining to GVIAL On time surveillance inspection, renewal of aerodrome license and approval of infrastructure proposals by DGCA Any other function assigned by COO/ Head Airside Management, AGM- Airside Planning and other senior management GVIAL from time to time. As per directions of COO/ Head Airside Management

Interface between DGCA and DIAL/ GHIAL/GVIAL.
The goodwill of the company has been significantly enhanced in the office of DGCA by sustained demonstration of the professional expertise and attitude. Facilitate approvals of the projects/ proposals submitted to the office of DGCA. Assist in timely renewal of aerodrome license for both the GMR aerodromes.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Any Graduation or PG Diploma in Business Administration

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Experience in the areas of : Airfield operations, Airfield Maintenance Projects, Bird Hazard Management, Civil Aviation Regulatory system, licensing of Aerodromes, Formulation of Procedures and Documents, Training and Development of airfield drivers, planning, organizing, induction of equipment, terminal management and briefing in ATC and other airside areas

Total: 15 years + years of experience.
