As a Duty Manager - Airside Operations at Adani Airports Holding Limited, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations on the airside of the airport. You will play a critical role in overseeing all airside activities, including aircraft movements, ground handling, and safety procedures. Your key duties will involve coordinating with airlines, managing ground staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Your role will require effective team handling and shift management to maintain smooth and continuous airport operations. By coordinating team activities, assigning tasks, and overseeing shift schedules, you will help minimize delays, maintain safety standards, and enhance overall airport efficiency. You will be responsible for supervising daily airside activities to ensure efficient aircraft movements and ground handling processes. Optimizing shift schedules and manpower allocation will be essential to manage peak times and minimize operational disruptions. It will be crucial for you to conduct regular safety audits and ensure that airside operations adhere to current safety regulations and industry standards. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, as well as managing training programs to keep staff updated on compliance requirements, will be part of your responsibilities. In the event of emergencies, you will develop and lead emergency response plans, coordinating with response teams and emergency services. Your quick response to incidents will help minimize disruptions and ensure staff readiness for emergency situations. You will also facilitate communication between the airport, airlines, and ground service providers to ensure a smooth operational flow. Addressing and resolving any operational issues or special requests from airlines will be necessary while ensuring adherence to airport procedures. Monitoring and reporting on airside performance metrics, such as aircraft movements, safety violations, and incident investigations, will also fall under your purview. Analyzing performance data and generating reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making will be crucial for assessing airside operational efficiency. Your key stakeholders will include internal teams such as Air Traffic Control (ATC), Ground Handling Teams, Terminal Operations Team, Facilities Team, Airport Security, Maintenance and Engineering Department, Customer Service Teams, IT Department, Safety and Compliance Department, and Marketing and Communications Department. External stakeholders will include Airlines, Regulatory Authorities (e.g., FAA, ICAO), Ground Handling Service Providers, ATC, Local Emergency Services, Passengers, Cargo Operators, Fuel Suppliers, and Vendors and Contractors. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, you should possess certifications in Airport Operations Management, Air Traffic Management, and Emergency Response Planning. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in airport operations with expertise in safety compliance, ground handling, airfield maintenance, and emergency response is essential for this position.,
