DTP Operator(Marikavalasa)

We are looking for an experienced DTP operator with minimum 2years of experience, with good knowledge using PageMaker, Hindi and Telugu type writing is must.

Job Summary:

The DTP Operator will be responsible for designing, formatting, and preparing high-quality

printed and digital materials for the school. This includes academic content (worksheets,

exam papers, report cards, etc.), The role demands accuracy, creativity, and adherence

to timelines while maintaining the school’s branding and visual identity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Material Preparation

 Format and design worksheets, assignments, question papers, and answer sheets.

 Create and edit report cards and progress reports in coordination with teachers.

 Maintain and update school diary content and academic planners.

 Ensure correct fonts, layout, and alignment for readability and presentation.

2. Marketing & Communication Design

 Design brochures, admission forms, banners, and posters for school events and

campaigns.

 Create social media graphics and digital content as per branding guidelines.

 Support in designing newsletters, magazines, and annual reports.

3. Event-Related Work

 Prepare invitation cards, certificates, signage, and stage backdrops for events.

 Coordinate with event organisers to ensure timely delivery of printed materials.

MS Word, and MS Publisher.

 Ensure high-resolution output for printing and compatibility for online sharing.

5.Quality Control & Proofreading

 Check layouts for errors in spelling, formatting, alignment, and image clarity.

 Work closely with teachers and administrative staff to make necessary corrections.

6. Record Keeping & File Management

 Maintain an organized archive of all design files and templates.

 Ensure backups of important documents.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

 Graduation or Diploma in DTP

 Proficiency in typing English, Hindi and Telugu and PageMaker.

 Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 Good eye for design, layout, and typography.

 Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.

 Basic knowledge of printing processes and file formats.

 Good communication skills in English and local language.

Experience:

 2–5 years of experience as a DTP Operator, preferably in an educational institution.

Work Environment:

 Office-based role within the school premises.

 Work may require additional hours during peak academic seasons (exams,

admissions, events).
