As a Driver for Anglicare’s Toys and Tucker program, you’ll play a vital part in collecting and distributing donated food and toys to families across the Sydney who are doing it tough this Christmas.Whether it’s a box of groceries for a struggling household or a toy that lights up a child’s face, your work will directly contribute to building a more caring and compassionate community.This is such an important role and plays a key part in the success of the Toys and Tucker program. Without our drivers, families who need support won’t receive the help they need to make Christmas special.We’re looking for 4 dedicated drivers this year to help us deliver these essential items. Your contribution will ensure that no family is left behind this Christmas—your deliveries will bring hope, relief, and festive cheer to those who need it most.

- Full Time
- Contract 6 weeks
- Monday 10th November till Friday 19th December 2025
- location is based in Minchinbury, NSW
- To be considered for this position you must have Full Drivers Licence.
Key Responsibilities (not Limited To)
- Complete food deliveries in a safe and efficient way
- loading and unloading the refrigerated trucks in a safe and hygienic manner
- keeping food refrigerated and monitoring holding temperatures
- keeping trucks in a clean condition, following all road rules, speed limits and Anglicare policies and procedures
- Contributes to the effectiveness of the team of Drivers by operating in a cooperative way
- Assisting other Drivers, delivering, and unloading the appropriate food to the correct destination on time.
- Contributes to the effectiveness of food distribution process by suggesting improvements, identifying hazards
- Contributes to the development of the safety culture
About You
- Valid NSW Driver Licence
- Understanding Manufacturing Practices.
- Motivated and able to work independently
- Physically able to fulfil the requirements of the position
- Works well in a team
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Clean driving record and willingness to have a police check
- Enjoys meeting people and is community focused
