Job Title: Driver Department: Transport / Travel Desk / Administration Reports To: Travel Desk Executive / Admin Manager / Front Office Manager Supervises: None Job Summary: The Driver is responsible for transporting guests, staff, and official hotel items safely and punctually, maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition, and delivering courteous, professional service that reflects the hotel’s standards. Key Responsibilities: Drive guests and staff to and from the hotel, airport, meetings, or other destinations as directed. Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order at all times. Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and hotel protocols during trips. Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage and opening doors as needed. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance. Perform routine checks on vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues. Coordinate with the travel desk or supervisor for daily schedules and guest requirements. Handle unexpected situations (e.g., delays, traffic, breakdowns) calmly and professionally. Respect guest confidentiality and privacy at all times. Be punctual, reliable, and flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays. Required Skills & Qualifications: Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated. Clean driving record and minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience. Familiarity with local routes, traffic laws, and navigation tools. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Polite, well-groomed, and guest-focused demeanor. Ability to communicate in basic English or local language. Physically fit and alert.
