Job Description

Civil Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare
civil layout drawings
, general arrangements (GA), and detailed construction drawings for
solar power projects
.
Draft
site grading plans
, foundations, trenching, and cable routing layouts.
Develop
PV module layout plans
as per engineering inputs and site conditions.
Interpret and incorporate
survey data
, topographic maps, and other inputs into project designs.
Coordinate with design engineers and project managers for drawing revisions and updates.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes and standards.
Maintain organized drawing records and revisions as per document control procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship.
2 -5 years of experience
as a Draughtsman in the
solar energy or infrastructure sector
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
; knowledge of SketchUp / PVSyst / Helioscope is a plus.
Understanding of
solar PV plant layout
, topographical surveys, and civil infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and civil design documents.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in
large-scale solar power plant projects
.
Knowledge of relevant
BIS/IS codes
and civil design practices in India.
Familiarity with government approvals and drawing submission formats.

Salary:

As per industry standards (Negotiable based on experience)
