Role & responsibilities

1.Civil & Structural Drafting:-

a) Prepare GA drawings, foundation layouts, sections, equipment foundations, and drainage layouts.

b) Revise drawings as per site conditions and Project Manager / Engineering Manager comments.

c) Visit existing factories for taking measurements / preparation of As built drawings for future working & expansion work

2. Architectural Drawings :

d) Preparation of conceptual layouts for initial discussion and approval

e) Prepare factory layouts, elevations, sections, doors & windows schedules, and finishing details.

f) Coordinate architectural drawings with civil and MEP services

3.Mechanical, Electrical & Piping Coordination:-

g) Prepare / modify MEP layout drawings (HVAC, Electrical, utilities, firefighting, compressed air, ammonia/refrigeration piping, etc.).

h) Ensure clash-free coordination between civil, structural, and services drawings.

i) Support preparation of as-built drawings after execution

4.Standards & Compliance:-

j) Ensure drawings comply with IS Codes, NBC, local authority requirements, and project specifications.

k) Maintain drawing standards, layer controls, and drawing numbering systems.

5.Site & Consultant Coordination

l) Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, vendors, and site teams for drawing inputs.

m) Visit project sites as required to capture site modifications and measurements.

n) Support quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation if required.

6.Software & Skills Required :-

1. AutoCAD (mandatory)
2. Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an added advantage
3. MS Excel, MS Word, PPT
4. Good understanding of industrial buildings, utilities, and services coordination

7.Behavioural & Functional Skills:-

1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
2. Ability to work under tight deadlines and extended hours during peak project stages
3. Good communication and coordination skills
4. Willingness to travel to factory/project locations
5. Understanding of teamwork and office ethics
