Job Description

Position Purpose

The role is for a Software Developer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Application Development and M&E experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of large Development team.
The role will also involve the all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions.
Previous experience within the investment banking sector is not essential but a highly motivated and skilled individual who can add to the current group of talented resources is considered more important.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from BA
Liaise with BA to ensure correct understanding and implementation of specifications
Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received
Work closely in a one team approach with all stakeholders during all phases of the SDLC, jointly providing high quality deliverables
Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression) as required while coordinating with BA, IT and QA teams
Provide support to operations from a technical perspective

Qualification and occupational experience

Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
8-10 years of development experience
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Essential specific requirements

Strong in C#, .Net, Angular.
Good Knowledge & Understanding of GUI design.
Proficiency in working with databases: MS SQL.
Good understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
