Documentation Intern (Law Background)


ACET is a global recruitment and migration specialist headquartered in Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Darwin dedicated to helping individuals, families and businesses navigate the complex Australian visa and immigration system. We pride ourselves in providing ethical, transparent and client-focused services. As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated Documentation Interns with a law background to assist our team in preparing, reviewing and organizing case files for Australian migration matters. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in migration law, documentation processes and client case management.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, organizing, and reviewing client documentation in line with Australian migration requirements.

• Conduct legal and regulatory research on Australian migration laws, pathways, and compliance guidelines to support accurate advice and planning.

• Provide guidance and advisory support to clients on available migration options, ensuring clarity on requirements, timelines, and processes.

• Draft and format supporting legal documents, statements, and case summaries for migration matters.

• Maintain accurate client records, documentation logs, and communication notes to ensure seamless case management.

• Coordinate with migration agents/lawyers in case preparation, client communication, and administrative tasks.

• Manage client interactions by addressing queries, setting expectations, and ensuring a professional client experience throughout the migration process.

• Ensure all documentation and communications comply with confidentiality, professional, and ethical standards.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).

• Strong interest in migration law, administrative law, or international law.

• Excellent research, drafting, and documentation skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Graduates or postgraduates from other stream with strong documentation and client management skills are also encouraged to apply.
