Document Controller

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting and assisting regional project management teams in managing and controlling documentation for customers and vendors efficiently. This includes handling proposals, product-related issues, and drawings/documents in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a Master Document Register (MDR) comprising drawings, specifications, procedures, and plans. - Verify completeness and data accuracy of documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications. - Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure based on due dates for various documents. - Prepare and manage a filing system in collaboration platforms like Aconex and SharePoint as per project requirements. - Manage correspondence flow in and out of the company through proper transmittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. - Organize and safeguard files and databases by copying or scanning materials. - Review project documents for completeness, format, and contract compliance. - Submit project documentation for approval and transmit approved documents to customers. - Distribute documentation to project teams and customers for review and comments. - Liaise with various stakeholders to discuss projects, prepare documents, and resolve discrepancies. - Update control records with changes, release documents, and notify relevant departments. - Provide support to other project departments by facilitating the flow of company information. Qualifications Required: - Graduation in any discipline, preferably from a technical background. - 2-5 years of solid experience in Document Control within engineering, manufacturing, or construction industries.
