Job Description

As a Document Engineer at Emerson, you will play a crucial role in the Project Management Organization's Centre of Excellence (CoE) Customer Care team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage post-order documentation for project orders by collaborating with various factories globally. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Take ownership of project documentation from the project awarded stage till final submission. - Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure on-time submission of all documents and approvals in line with the agreed EDDI (Emerson Document Delivery Index). - Maintain detailed status of documents in EDDI/VDRL. - Review plant-issued technical files before submission to customers. - Prepare cover pages for documents and manage the transmittal of documents between Emerson and customers. - Review customer comments, prepare comment resolution sheets, and ensure timely resubmission of revised documents. - Follow up with customers and internal resources to expedite document submission and approvals. - Provide project document status reports to customers and project managers. In addition to these responsibilities, you should possess the following qualifications: - Good assertive communication skills to engage with global stakeholders. - Proficiency in MS Office Tools. - Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. - Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. - Technical literacy to comprehend technical details. - Demonstrated teamwork abilities. - Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.
