In this role, your responsibilities will include providing factory quotes for valves, spare parts, and automated valves from multiple factories to the sales team/purchasing group in local sales regions. You will be responsible for recording incoming enquiry requests, analyzing and registering the technical information provided by customers, translating customer specifications into information for Bill of Material (BOM) creation, and participating in pre-bid technical clarification meetings with customers. Additionally, you will prepare technical bids with clarifications and deviations, provide product cost and margin calculations for discount approvals, utilize business systems including CPQ+ configurator and CRM Cloud front end, liaise with other functions, send and manage Request for Quotations (RFQ), ensure technical support to local Sales Office, support sales with missing price lists, manage Intercompany product quotation, and support order review and post-order technical meetings. To excel in this role, you should promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals, take action in evolving situations, seek guidance for informed decisions, and handle risks associated with uncertainty. The qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business field (Engineering preferred), fluency in English, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to comprehend technical details/technical literacy. Preferred qualifications that set you apart include previous experience in the flow control industry, understanding of valve and actuation applications, basic understanding of fluid mechanics, electro-mechanical equipment, and metal physical properties, and knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive (ASME, ANSI, API) standards.
