Doctoral Student

Research theme in my group: This is a full-time PhD student positions at our Quantum Materials & Magnetism Lab at the Department of Physics, IIT Indore. The student will engage in advanced experimental research within the broad field of unconventional magnetism in quantum materials, magneto-transport measurements in 2D and other spintronic materials, X-ray Absorption Fine Structure spectroscopy and Neutron Diffraction. Qualifications Masters’ degree (M.Sc./M.S./M.Tech.) in Physics, Solid State Physics, Applied Physics. For those applying under the FA category: a valid UGC-JRF/ CSIR-JRF, DST Inspire, or equivalent fellowship is a must. For those applying under the TA category: a valid GATE/JEST (in Physics/Mathematics), or UGC-NET (LS), CSIR - PhD exam Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of any programming language, familiarity with LaTEX, and data plotting software (ex.
