Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist the Head Dockmaster in planning and coordinating daily docking, undocking, and mooring activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules
Monitor vessel movement within the dock area, overseeing proper mooring, positioning, and securing of vessels to maintain stability and safety.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for all dock operations, ensuring compliance with local and industry regulations
Manage the inventory of docking equipment, mooring lines, bollards, and related resources, ensuring availability and operational readiness
Prepare for and manage emergency situations, including vessel distress, equipment failure, or extreme weather conditions, ensuring all actions comply with the emergency response plan.
