ROLE OBJECTIVE & DELIVERABLES:

DMZ architecture and design, using Cisco and Palo Alto solutions

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

DMZ design
- Proven experience designing solutions utilising both Cisco & Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Ability to understand existing solutions by studying rules, flows and configurations ( reverse engineering )
- Proficiency comprehending client requirements and producing engineering solutions (HLDs and LLDs)
Palo Alto design, deployment & Integration
- Experience deploying Palo Alto across various environments (on-premises appliance, cloud-based service)
- Ability to configure appliances, including interfaces and appliance-to-appliance encryption
Cisco design, deployment & Integration
- Experience deploying Cisco across various environments (on-premises appliance, cloud-based service)
Monitoring & Reporting
- Ability to monitor Palo Alto/Cisco devices via CLI and GUI
- Understanding of log formats and how to interpret Palo Alto/Cisco reports
Project Management
- Planning and executing deployment phases, managing timelines, and coordinating teams
Documentation & Reporting
- Creating detailed documentation for configurations, policies, and incident reports
