Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team at Gallagher, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the company's approach to data loss prevention. Your responsibilities will include triaging, investigating, escalating, and closing DLP incidents, recommending and implementing effective DLP policies, and producing monthly and ad-hoc DLP reports. You will be instrumental in minimizing Gallagher's risk of data leakage and ensuring compliance with company information security and privacy policies. Key Responsibilities: - Triaging and investigating DLP events and escalating instances of non-compliance with company policy or data leakage - Validating white listed user activity - Advising on ruleset optimization and tuning to reduce false positives - Performing control checks regularly - Preparing monthly DLP reports and dashboards, including trend analysis and root cause analysis - Providing detailed DLP analysis support for stakeholders - Contributing to overall DLP process improvement and documentation - Supporting the incident management framework - Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of experience in DLP - Certification in McAfee/Microsoft/SkyHigh Security DLP is beneficial but not essential - Knowledge of DLP solution capabilities and data leakage methods - Proven track record in incident investigation and escalation - Hands-on experience with DLP tools, preferably McAfee/Microsoft/SkyHigh Security DLP - Familiarity with incident management, risk assessment, and report production - Ability to work effectively in a shared mailbox - Excellent spoken and written English communication skills - Analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail - Familiarity with sensitive data types/identifiers and regulatory requirements - Proficiency in MS Office - Confidence to challenge views and make recommendations for improvements Additional Details: Gallagher values inclusion and diversity, which are core aspects of the organization's culture.
