Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working as a Divisional Control Officer (DCO) for Group Treasury in Mumbai, India, holding the Corporate Title of Associate Vice President. Your main responsibility will be to monitor, manage, and mitigate Non-Financial Risks across Group Treasury, including Legacy Portfolios. You will supervise the risk and control strategy, provide a consolidated view of non-financial risks, and ensure key issues are reported accurately. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with other risk and control functions to ensure transparency and consistency. Key Responsibilities: - Support the DCO in timely and effective remediation of risk and control issues - Deliver the units controls agenda, monitor risks, promote risk awareness, and drive event identification and lessons learned processes - Collaborate with Findings Owners to ensure accurate documentation and evidence for Findings closure - Proactively identify and manage operational risks within the unit using the OR management framework - Provide updates in Non-Financial Risk Governance meetings to evidence oversight of risks and decision making - Assist Risk Owners in determining Key Controls or Control Gaps, review and approve material changes to Key Controls, and provide an annual certification of completeness and accuracy of Key Controls - Develop an annual Divisional Key Control Assurance Plan for Key Controls of the Unit Qualifications Required: - Build and manage engagements with other 1st LoD, 2nd LoD, and 3rd LoD - Knowledge of risk and control frameworks for Group Treasury - Ability to work independently and in a team setting - Experience in working under pressure and to tight deadlines, with excellent prioritization skills - Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills for interactions with senior management and cross-divisional teams - Personal initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure - Experience in Audit, Controls Testing, or 2nd line Assurance role would be beneficial Additional Details: The company offers a range of benefits including leave policy, parental leaves, childcare assistance, sponsorship for certifications, Employee Assistance Program, insurance coverage, and health screening.
