As a Design Engineer specializing in Instrumentation Engineering, you are expected to have a Degree in Instrumentation Engineering (BE / B Tech) from a reputed University along with 10 to 15 years of experience. For the Senior Design Engineer position, a minimum of 5 years of experience is required, whereas for the Design Engineer role, 5 to 10 years of experience is necessary, with at least 3 years in a Consultancy / Design Engineering / EPC Organization related to Refinery / Petrochemical Plant. Your responsibilities will include working on Chemical / Process Plant instrumentation projects and demonstrating knowledge of International Standards. This involves tasks such as preparation of Control Strategy, Control Loop Configuration, Instrument Classification, Logic Diagrams, as well as the design and detailed engineering of field instruments and control systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for tasks such as engineering instrument and control systems, generating instrument sizing calculations, creating instrument data sheets and specifications, and conducting Technical Bid Evaluations. You will also collaborate with Control system vendors for system configuration, review and approval of vendor prints, execution of Factory Acceptance Tests for DCS, ESD, and F&G systems, as well as overseeing Site Acceptance Tests for control and safety systems. Your role will also involve reviewing and providing input on instrument construction drawings, and utilizing INtools for instrument Index, data sheets, typicals, hook-up drawings, cable connection lists, loop drawings, and more.
