District Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations, distribution network, and team performance within the assigned district to ensure the achievement of sales targets, market share growth, and execution of marketing initiatives as per company standards. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the district. - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the market. - Ensure product availability, visibility, and display across all outlets. - Monitor competition activities and share market insights. - Manage, train, and motivate Sales Officers / Sales Representatives. - Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews. - Ensure effective communication between the field team and head office. - Appoint and manage distributors / super stockists as per company policy. - Ensure proper secondary and tertiary sales tracking. - Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, and claim settlements. - Implement company schemes, promotions, and product launches effectively. - Ensure adherence to sales processes, policies, and reporting systems. - Maintain hygiene of market execution standards (merchandising, visibility, branding). - Submit periodic sales reports and market feedback. - Analyze sales data and take corrective actions where needed. Qualification Required: - Graduate / MBA in Marketing or Business Administration preferred - 5-8 years of experience in FMCG sales - Experience in managing distributors and rural/urban markets Additional Details: Established in 1989, Rollick is one of the largest manufacturers of frozen desserts in Eastern India.
