Job Summary

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff, and maintaining proper dispatch documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily dispatch activities
• Plan and schedule vehicle dispatch as per delivery timelines
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and logistics teams
• Ensure accurate preparation of invoices, challans, and delivery notes
• Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time deliveries
• Maintain dispatch records, reports, and registers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Handle driver allocation, attendance, and performance
• Resolve dispatch-related issues and customer complaints
• Optimize routes to reduce delivery time and cost

Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in dispatch/logistics operations
• Experience in supervising staff preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Knowledge of dispatch processes and documentation
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/Logistics software)
• Good communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Working Conditions

• May require extended working hours
• On-site role with coordination across departments
