Job Description

Job Description   ·      Receipt of Material - Supervise and coordinate for receipt of consignments, leading the operations team for unloading of material, ensuring storage at designated place with proper stacking ensuring safety of material and identification of material, and verify, sign and prepare GRN in ERP / WMS ·      Dispatch of Material - Supervise and coordinate for dispatch of orders in timely manner, leading the operations team for loading of material strictly as per Sales Order, ensuring accuracy and completeness of loading, and verify, sign and prepare Delivery Note in ERP / WMS ·      Material Transportation Arrangement - Oversee and manage logistics arrangement to transport products to customers; appointing and coordinating with transporters and drivers to ensure timely availability of vehicles for dispatch; ensuring cost efficiency of transportation ·      Material Handling Arrangement - Oversee and manage material handling arrangement to unload and load material; appointing and coordinating with concerned persons to ensure seamless material handling with cost efficiency ·      Maintenance of Warehouse Floor / office - Oversee entire maintenance of Office and warehouse of assigned location, arranging and coordinating for all maintenance facilities including electrical, water, cleanliness etc and ensuring proper use of assets including computer, printers, building etc ·      Security and Safety of Warehouse - Ensuring proper functioning of Security and Safety arrangements and ensuring proper follow of protocals including security locking, restricting entry of unauthorized persons, proper functioning of securty guard if appointed, maintainence of available fire control appliances and CCTV etc ·      Coordination with other departments and Client - Coordinate with all other departments including Billdesk, Accounts, Sales, HR & Admin for warehouse related matters as and when required, and with client for freight charge and availability of vehicle ·      Inventory Control - Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts periodically, identifying possible mistake areas and talking proactive approach to avoid inaccurate dispatch, making correction vouchers on identification of mistake ·      Filing and coordination of documents - Filing of purchase and sales documents along with receivings, and arranging for sending requisite documents to office within prescribed time limits ·      Petty Expense Management - Prepare, update and submit of petty expense sheet with accuracy and within prescribed time limits; Reimbursement of eligible amount to material handling, cleaning persons etc. on monthly basis.
