Dispatch Executive (Home Appliances)

Job Summary:

The Dispatch Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dispatch and delivery of home appliances to customers, dealers, or service centers. This includes managing delivery schedules, coordinating with logistics teams, monitoring inventory movements, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Coordination:
• Schedule and coordinate the dispatch of home appliances for delivery and service.
• Ensure timely dispatches based on delivery and installation commitments.
• Assign delivery routes to drivers and technicians.
• Logistics Management:
• Liaise with transporters, drivers, and warehouse teams to optimize delivery operations.
• Track deliveries in real time and ensure smooth last-mile delivery.
• Maintain vehicle usage and delivery documentation.
• Order Processing:
• Process sales or service orders for dispatch from warehouses.
• Verify order details, product availability, and correct documentation before dispatch.
• Inventory & Warehouse Coordination:
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability.
• Ensure correct items are dispatched with proper packaging.
• Customer Communication:
• Confirm delivery schedules with customers and resolve any delays or rescheduling.
• Handle dispatch-related queries from customers and internal teams.
• Record Keeping & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery logs, and customer receipts.
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly dispatch reports for management review.
• Compliance & Quality Checks:
• Ensure that dispatches comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Check appliances for damage or defects before delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or logistics roles, preferably in the home appliances or electronics sector.
• Skills:
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with logistics software and inventory systems.
• Basic knowledge of home appliances and installation processes.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
