Key Responsibilities
· Coordination: Works closely with production, logistics, and drivers to arrange materials and vehicles for dispatch.
· Scheduling & Dispatch: Organizes and schedules the dispatch of goods according to orders or immediate needs.
· Tracking & Monitoring: Tracks the delivery performance of goods to ensure timely completion.
· Communication: Communicates effectively with drivers, transporters, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
· Documentation: May involve preparing invoices and verifying details for dispatched items.
· Resource Management: Supervises and ensures the efficient utilization of manpower and other resources.
Skills Required
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating with various parties.
· Organization: The ability to organize tasks, schedules, and resources efficiently.
· Problem-Solving: Good skills in identifying and resolving issues that arise during the dispatch process.
· Time Management: Crucial for ensuring timely deliveries and adhering to schedules.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with any relevant dispatch or inventory management software.
