Dispatch and Packing Supervisor-Furniture Factory

Job Summary:

The Dispatch and Packing Supervisor oversees the end-to-end packing and dispatch operations within a furniture manufacturing unit. This role ensures that products are packed securely, dispatched on schedule, and meet quality and safety standards. The supervisor coordinates with production, inventory, and logistics teams to streamline operations and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing Operations:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the packing team to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure all products are packed in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Inspect packaged goods for conformity with specifications.
• Ensure the packing area adheres to cleanliness and organization standards.
• Monitor inventory of packing materials and order additional supplies as needed.
• Develop and implement packing schedules and procedures.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to packing.
• Prepare and present reports on packing operations and efficiency to management.

Dispatch Coordination:

• Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch of vehicles and deliveries, ensuring that the right resources are allocated to meet delivery schedules.
• Develop and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Monitor the status of deliveries, ensuring that any issues such as delays, detours, or customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery times, customer information, and inventory.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded efficiently and comply with safety regulations.

Inventory Management:

• Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels of packing materials and supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Any Bachelor’s degree or minimum five years of Experience in same field.
