Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Discharge Summary Incharge role located in Kozhikode. The individual will manage and oversee the preparation and finalization of patient discharge summaries while ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical protocols. Key responsibilities include coordinating with medical staff for timely report preparation, verifying the completeness of medical documentation, maintaining patient confidentiality, and addressing queries related to discharge summaries. The role also involves ensuring efficient recordkeeping and updating patient files as required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in medical documentation and terminology.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in proofreading and reviewing medical records.
• Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with medical staff and patients.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software or electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration,deploma in medical transcription or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting or knowledge of hospital discharge processes is an advantage.
