Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Transcriptionist, located in Kozhikode. The primary responsibilities of the role include accurately transcribing medical reports, patient care documents, and clinical notes based on dictated recordings from healthcare professionals. Additionally, the Medical Transcriptionist will be required to proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, ensure correct use of medical terminologies, and maintain patient data confidentiality. The role requires the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in transcription, including accurate listening, typing, and editing skills
• Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, anatomy, and orthopaedic-specific terminology
• Attention to detail and expertise in proofreading and ensuring accuracy in medical documentation
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with transcription software and basic computer skills
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards and data privacy regulations
• Experience in orthopaedics or a healthcare-related field is a plus
• An education or certification in medical transcription is preferred
