Director

The Director position is currently open at the School of Digital Media Management and the School of Retail Management & Digital Media Marketing. We are looking for a dynamic, visionary, and experienced academic leader to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of education in digital and retail marketing. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Management from a recognized university and a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) with a specialization in areas such as Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Media Management, Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, E-Commerce, or Family Business Management. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of combined experience in academics, industry collaboration, consultancy, or administration. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at a university or reputable higher education institution is required. Previous experience as a Department Head, Professor, or Director will be given preference. A proven track record of working in digital marketing, retail, or e-commerce sectors is desirable. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital marketing domains such as Social Media Marketing (SMM), Video Marketing & Digital Storytelling, Web Analytics, Google Analytics, Branding & Brand Positioning in the Digital Age, Digital Media Planning & Buying, and an entrepreneurial mindset in digital media. Additionally, understanding of allied domains like Marketing, Media Economics, and Consumer Behavior is essential. Retail & E-Commerce Marketing expertise is also required, including Retail Business Accounting & Retail Analytics, Power BI, Business Computing, Dashboard Creation, Retail Supply Chain Management, CRM in Retail and E-Commerce Platforms, Retail Franchise Management, Visual Merchandising, Entrepreneurship, Family Business Operations, Retail Store Design & Operations Management, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Retail and Consumer Insights.
