Job Description

As a Director/Senior Director in Financial Services Pre-Sales at Salesforce, you will have the opportunity to lead a team focused on specific strategic customers in the financial services industry. Your role will involve leveraging your deep domain expertise to tailor Salesforce solutions to industry-specific challenges and ensure alignment with customer needs and regulatory requirements. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers (SEs) while driving Salesforces AI, Data, and CRM value proposition to transform customer experiences and business outcomes. Building trusted partnerships with Sales Leadership and collaborating with internal teams will be essential to drive predictable and consistent business growth. Your responsibilities will include partnering strategically with Sales Leadership to drive scale, innovation, and exceptional business growth. You will cultivate a collaborative and high-impact pre-sales team, providing hands-on pre-sales leadership, account planning, pipeline progression, product demonstrations, and executive engagement. Additionally, you will collaborate across Salesforces broader Solutions teams to showcase the full power of the portfolio and drive process improvements and innovation within the Solutions and Sales organizations. To excel in this role, you should have 15+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or related roles within a commercial software company, along with 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring high-performing pre-sales teams. A deep understanding of Financial Services trends, regulatory challenges, and digital transformation strategies is essential. Strong communication skills, executive presence, expertise in needs analysis, solution positioning, business justification, and closing strategies are required. A degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or a related field is also necessary to be successful in this role.
