Director- School of Modern Media

As the Director / Assistant Dean of the School of Modern Media, your role involves providing visionary leadership to position the school as a leader in media education. You will shape and execute a future-ready curriculum integrating emerging technologies, creative storytelling, and entrepreneurial thinking. Your responsibilities include leading academic planning, program development, and innovation in teaching methodologies tailored to the needs of the modern media landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Build and sustain strong partnerships with leading media houses, digital content platforms, advertising agencies, film studios, OTT platforms, and creative tech firms. - Facilitate internships, live projects, mentorships, guest lectures, and industry-sponsored labs to offer students hands-on experience and exposure. - Establish Industry Advisory Boards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and aligned with real-world demands. - Oversee the design and continuous refinement of industry-aligned academic programs in digital media, journalism, film, advertising, communication, and content creation. - Drive initiatives to enhance student employability through certifications, bootcamps, masterclasses, and portfolio development. - Monitor placement outcomes and engage with recruiters to understand hiring trends and skill expectations. - Support student-led media initiatives, festivals, competitions, and independent content creation to showcase creative capabilities. As the face of the School in national and international academic, industry, and public forums, you will collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to promote the school's programs, events, and achievements. You will also represent the School in policy discussions, media education associations, and accreditation bodies, ensuring compliance with academic quality standards, regulatory norms, and institutional policies.,
